WORKSHOP ON THE PROJECT’S OUTCOMES

On Saturday February 26, 2022, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) organized the online workshop sharing and discussing about the outcomes of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)”. There were 18 participants, including specialist doctor I – Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Lich – representative of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment, Ministry of Health; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hien and Mr. Hoang Anh Dung – representatives of the sponsors from JIFF and doctors, lawyers, teachers, parents and members of the supporting people with hearing loss network.

Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing would like to express our sincere gratitude to precious opinions from all the participants. After this workshop, CED will collaborate with relevant organizations to work on the policy recommendations. We hope that these policy recommendations would be implemented, increasing opportunities for people with hearing loss in their social inclusion.
