EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION – PRACTICE TET WISHING

On January 13, 2023, the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had a very useful extracurricular session for students.

The topic of the extracurricular session was: Wishes for Tet. This was a practical topic and aimed at equipping students with behavioral skills for Tet and the season of spring, as it is inevitable to receive lucky money and wishing to parents or neighbors.

In order to make the session more interesting, the teachers taught the students how to decorate the board vividly to exude the Tet atmosphere.

Then, the teachers called each student up to practice wishing Tet according to what they learned last week about Tet’s wishes for grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, and close friends.

The extracurricular session took place beyond the teachers' expectations because of the presence of some former students. They came to visit and send Tet gifts to friends and teachers. This was also a good context for students to re-practice the Tet wishes they have learned to wish their older friends, who used to be their classmates.

At the end of the extracurricular session, the teachers and students took a souvenir photo together with the artificial apricot blossom branches prepared by the students from the previous week, creating a colorful splash in the atmosphere of Tet holiday.
