INFORMATION SESSION ON THE AUSTRALIAN VOLUNTEER PROGRAM (AVP)

On October 20, 2021, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) attended the Information Session on the Australian Volunteer Program in Vietnam (AVP), together with othr 9 partner organizations of AVP.

The session provided overview on the Australian Volunteer Program in Vietnam, participant’s roles and responsibilities, monitoring, evaluation and learning from both sides through the activities of the volunteers. Because of Covid-19, since 2021, AVP conducted additionally the remote-volunteer program (the volunteers are based in Australia and supporting organizations in Vietnam) and getting positive results from this new strategy.

CED has received Asutralian volunteers before and currently is working with one Australian volunteer in fund raising. CED would like to express our sincerely thanks to AVP and we wish all the best to our cooperation!
