SEMI-ONLINE TALKSHOW ON DIFFICULTIES AND BARRIERS IN LEARNING AND HEALTH CARE FOR GIRLS AND CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES
On June 29, 2021, Ms. Trieu Thuy Mi and Ms Hua Kim Huong, representatives of CED joined the semi-online talkshow on “Difficulties and Barriers in Learning and Health Care for girls and children with disabilities”.
Participated in the talkshow were lecturers, students in Social Work of Academy of Journalism and Communication and others who work in social organisations.
The contents presented in the talkshow were:
- Reporting research results on barriers in learning and health care for girls and children with disabilities.
- Findings of students when practicing social work with people with disabilities.
- Exchanging, suggesting solutions aiming at promoting health care and education access for the above children group.
The talkshow was organised by Vietnam Federation on Disability (VFD) in the framework of the project “Increasing health care and education access for girls and children with disabilities”.
After the talkshow, CED had more valuable practical information, understanding more on barriers in working with children with disabilities and notes for better working in education and helping them in the future.
