CONSULTATION ON FUND RAISING FOR PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS
On Sunday October 17, 2021, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh, Director of Center for Rersearch and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing consulted to two representatives of Si La Sol - Sign Language for the Soul organization about supporting people with hearing loss.
The supports that CED can offer Si La Sol are:
- Granting 20 transparent masks for their fund raising campaign or organization development;
- Granting one new hearing aid for any child that is given one hearing aid by Si La Sol and giving one used hearing aid for a person with hearing loss that is given one hearing aid by Si La Sol and who is the main labor in their family.
- Granting 4 free sessions on sign language training through Zoom for classes organized by Si La Sol for fund raising.
Ms. Hanh also suggested that Si La Sol should approach open homes and giving chances for children with hearing loss there.
Besides, other forms of supporting children with hearing loss that Si La Sol can do is granting scholarship, granting books, notebooks. etc…
Si La Sol is a non-profit organization aiming to spread sign language knowledge to community and supporting people with hearing loss, founded by very young students, who are very talented and enthusiatic.
CED is very happy because of the presence of these young beautiful souls as Si La Sol in life. Wishing their activities many successes and bringing benefits to community!
