DIGITAL TEXT BOOKS
With the intention “Education is the first priority”, Ministry of Education and Training suggests the plan for new school year 2021-2022 opening on August 23 for grade 1, latest on September 1; and September 5 for the rest. HCMC will not organize new school year opening ceremony, but the plan would be as following:
- Secondary schools, high schools, schools for continuing education will begin the new school year from September 1 to 9.
- Primary schools from September 20. Primary schools will instruct students on skills and methods for online learning from September 8 to 19.
- Kindergartens will begin later, when the COVID-19 situation is controled and students can go to school.
With the strategy “Online learning will be the stable approach for the new school year, not just the temporary one as previously, and the online learning scenario will take palce until the end of the first semester”, the Ministry of Education and Training has developed the page “Digital Luggage” and digitalized all the Text Books, Work Books and Teacher’s Books for all the grades, meeting the learning and teaching needs of students and teachers in the new school year.
