COMMUNITY SUPPORT: CONSULTING FOR BUSINESS

On July 5, 2025, representatives of the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had a meeting with the representatives of Be Concept, an event company, to discuss plans for recruiting and training employees with hearing loss (Deaf and Hard of Hearing).

The company needs support in connecting with employees with hearing loss as well as learning how to communicate with them for the training and recruitment plan; expecting support and advice from CED throughout the process of working with employees with hearing loss.

CED shared about the potential of the hearing-loss-labor market: dexterity, quick learning, quick adaptation to the environment. CED also shares information about businesses that have been recruiting employees with hearing loss as waiters, bartenders, bakers, etc. as evidence of the company's business success and the deaf and hard of hearing people's working capacity. Although the recruitment model is not new, the new business field for people with hearing loss will help them have more opportunities to find jobs, integrate, and take care of themselves.

Hopefully, more businesses will pay attention and create job opportunities for people with hearing loss. CED is always committed to advocating "Let Our Voice Resound" in the workplace.

Wishing the company success and wishing people with hearing loss to soon find jobs.
