OPENING THE TRAINING OF SIGN LANGUAGE ON MEDICAL THEME

 

On September 13, 2021, CED opened the online training of sign language on medical theme for 40 participants who are teachers in speacial schools and parents of children with hearing loss in HCMC, Hanoi, Dong Nai, An Giang, Danang, Dong Thap, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Nha Trang, Kien Giang. The training is facilitated mainly by Ms. Tran Phuong Nhung, together with the deaf assistant, Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong. There are also other six deaf people who practice with the participants. The first topic was about asking information at the gate and reception counter.

 

This is training in the framework of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)” of CED, sponsored by EU through JIFF-Oxfam.
