TRAINING ON SKILLS FOR ASSISTING PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS IN HOSPITALS

On June 5, 2021, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh – Director of CED, led an online closing session for 36 participants who are students in special education, social work and public health of Class 1 and Class 2 of the training course “Skills for assisting people with hearing loss in hospitals.”

 

Participants reviewed about sign language, speechreading, communication skills and procedure for assisting people with hearing loss in hospitals. The lecturer also explained the exercises and answers questions from participants.

 

These are the first two classes completed in the framework of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)” of CED, sponsored by EU through JIFF-Oxfam.
