TRAINING ON SKILLS FOR ASSISTING PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS IN HOSPITALS

 

On June 19, 2021, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of CED - trained 25 participants who are teachers in special education and health care and medical staff in hospitals in HCMC, Long An, Dong Thap and Vung Tau on “Skills for supporting people with hearing loss (Deaf and Hard of Hearing / DHoH) in hospitals”.

 

This session focussed on skills for assisting people with hearing loss through discussion on various situations, gender sensitivity integration and developing procedure in assisting people with hearing loss in hospitals.

 

This is the fourth training of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)” of CED, sponsored by EU through JIFF-Oxfam.
