CHILDREN WITH HEARING LOSS LEARNING SIGN LANGUAGE

At the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), besides studying main courses, students are also trained in necessary skills for their future social inclusion. And thus, learning sign language is one of these trainings.

In sign language sessions, students reviewed old signs and learning new signs with big pictures projected on the board as instructed by the teacher. CED’s students learn listening and speaking together with sign language. They are very excited to see both the signs and the pictures.

Skillful in sign language and well pronouncing of the relevant words, these are the objectives of each sign language session at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

All is for the firm steps of children with hearing loss on their way in later social inclusion.
