COMMUNICATION IMPROVEMENT FOR CHILDREN WITH COCHLEAR IMPLANTATION

On September 5, 2021, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh, Director of CED, had a consulting session for a parent of a child with hearing loss with cochlear implanted on ways to help improving the child’s communication and social inclusion. Ms. Hanh emphasized on enhancing children’s awareness and learning meaningful and good things in life through reading and writing, which are the two activities that children with hearing loss can do actively.

In addition, Ms. Hanh also adviced that family should spend more time communicating with the child as well as encouraging our children to communicate with their friends and engaging in outer world. CED’s teachers also attended the consultation for their own learning.
