DRAWING A FUTURE FOR CHILDREN WITH HEARING LOSS
The Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) is going to make a plan for the Project “Drawing a future for children with hearing loss” through 3 actions (1) Learn to draw; (2) Draw on the plastic bottles; (3) Turn them into souvenir handy crafts as sample below:
The reason/ The meaning of the Project:
- Socio-economic value: Children need financial support to ensure long-term special education at school. Children with hearing loss have ability of drawing, thus we want to make livelihoods for them as an effective and highly sustainable solution. Estimated 10,000 VND / bottle.
- Cultural and artistic values: Introducing landscape and Vietnamese people through their drawings- children with hearing loss.
- Environmental protection value (reusing plastic bottles): Trash issue (especially plastic bottles), we can handle a part of it for containing dry foods (peppercorns, coffee beans, beans, seeds…)
The project is waiting to respond of sponsors with amount 150,000,000 VND of the community program “Narrow The Gap” (the 2nd round in 2019).
We call your supports:
-Collect, clean plastic bottles and send them to CED
-Vote for us if we win to attend the final round.
-Buy our products and spread out the project that many people know and buy them too.
-Introduce to companies working in travel, farm product,…
