DRAWING SESSION: THE SILENT NOTES OF SOUND

On November 30, 2023, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students have a drawing lesson.

With the theme "Drawing a stork", the teacher instructed the younger students to draw each stroke according to the pattern on the board and match the colors accordingly. Some people draw storks flying in the middle of rice fields, others draw storks spreading their wings in the early morning in a colorful natural setting. It all gives viewers a feeling of both relaxation and peace.

At STEM class, students draw on free themes, some choose the topic of portrait drawing, some choose the topic of drawing still lifes. No matter what topic they choose, their paintings always have deep tones but are not dark or sad, but exude the desire to hear the sounds of life.

Drawing sessions at the Center for Education and Research of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) aims to train students to be meticulous, creative and sensitive to the colorful beauty of life around them.
