EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION – WISHES FOR TET

On January 6, 2023, the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had a very useful extracurricular session for students.

The topic of the extracurricular session was: Wishes for Tet. This was a practical topic and aimed at equipping students with behavioral skills for Tet and the season of spring, as it is inevitable to receive lucky money and wishing to parents or neighbors.

In order to make the session more interesting, the teachers taught the students how to decorate the board vividly to exude the Tet atmosphere with a bunch of apricot blossoms that were skillfully molded through artistic hands.

Then, the teachers presented Tet wishes to grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters, and close friends.

After the students understood the meaning of these wishes, the teachers paired them up to role-play with each other.

The extra-curricular session was divided into two different sessions but with the same purpose of preparing and decoratingfor Tet. In the afternoon, the students were instructed to decorate apricot blossoms and put them together in bunches. This was one of the upcoming training programs, in which the teachers would instruct them how to decorate apricot and peach blossoms for Tet. And if anyone has passion, they would go further by designing artificial apricot blossom trees to display in Tet or selling to earn extra income.
