GRATITUDE TO TEACHERS

Every year, on November 20, we put our worries aside to get together in our old schools, meeting our old teachers and talked about childhood memories. It seems like only yesterday, when we were little children going to school and being taught, trained by our teachers. Now we have already grown up and contributed to build a prosperous Vietnam.

In the framework of the EU JULE – OXFAM project, this year, the Management Authority for Urban Railway (MAUR) joyfully organized a special trip to express gratitude to teachers of the Center of Research and Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED). CED teachers and students with hearing loss came to visit the station “HCMC Opera House” and experienced the metro’s special facilities for people with disability. Loving and being thankful, teachers and students with hearing loss expressed their gratitude to the engineers and workers of Vietnam and Japan, who are working every night and day to build the wonderful metro underground. We wish that we can go by the metro someday soon.

On behalf of the students with hearing loss and CED teachers, we would like to express our sincere and deep gratitude to the Management Authority for Urban Railway (MAUR). Wishing the metro line to be completed soon and thus, contributing to the modernization of HCMC’s public transport system, through a common message: “ON THE STEPS TOWARD SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE VIETNAMESE PEOPLE, NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND".
