The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED).

 

On August 03rd, 04th , 05th 2018, Ms Duong Phuong Hanh – the director of The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) taught about Medical Sign Language for 58 participants  working as technicians, nursing assistants and other staff at Xuyen A General Hospital.

On August 07th 2018, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) welcomed 3 teachers and 12 students from Daiichi High School, Japan to visit and learn about CED’s activity model. This program was made by Habataku Organization.

 

On August 08th 2018, students of the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) took part in a class of fire control presented by officer of Center 4/10 under Ho Chi Minh City Fire Unit.

On August 08th 2018, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) co-operated Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability – (APCD) and Danishkadak Organization organized a training program named 'International instruments for Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)'. It was organized for 6 member countries belonging Asia- Pacific Federation Of The Hard Of Hearing and Deafened (APFHD) with sponsors including APCD; Quang Duc Hearing Services Co Ltd, Viet Nam; CBM Pakistan.

 On August 28th 2018, Ms Duong Phuong Hanh, the Director of The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) greeted Ms Helena Berger – The President of American Association of People with Disabilities to visit and learn about CED’s activities.

 

 

Consultancy/Peer counseling:

In this month, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) conducted 51 cases for consultancy / peer counseling in relation with hearing loss field (education, job, hearing aid, skill learning, sign language, lip reading, providing information for the projects of Social Enterprises, etc…)
