The Center For Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED)
On June 4th 2018, The Center For Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) co-operated with a psychologist to consult and intervene for one student with hearing loss.
In this June, CED received students with hearing loss who study in Mainstream Schools in summer class, some are from other provinces, some are ex-CED students. The keys of summer class are focusing on communication, curricular activities, required skills to help them enjoy well once the school starts.
CED's students have some fun in a curricular activity.
At the same time, CED also accepted 3 volunteers who are in 11th grade of Le Hong Phong High School, High School for the Gifted and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School
Volunteers are studying and playing with CED's students.
On June 14th 2018, The Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) discussed and reached agreement on opening the Course of Medical Sign Language for 88 participants who are staff of Xuyen A General Hospital which is divided into 03 training sessions and it is going to begin in July.
On June 19th 2018 The Center for Research and Education for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) welcomed and led the students of FPT University to learn about the project “The travelling satisfaction of people with disabilities for the public transportation”.
On June 27th 2018. The Center for Research and Education for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) welcomed the representative of Cao Ky Beauty Academy for sharing the scholarship program for people with hearing loss who wish to learn about tattoo, spraying eyebrows. It was said that the program is for gifted youths with age from 18 to 30.

On June 30th 2018, The Center for Research and Education of Deaf and Hard of Hearing greeted the representative of Starkey Hearing Aids Fund – VCF. They visited and introduced Starkey’s donation program and then discover CED’s education program and services, especially CED’s Hearing Aids Fund for poor children.
CED’s Hearing Aids Fund: donate one hearing aid for a child living in Nam Dinh Province (Northern).
Consultancy/Peer counseling:
In this month, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) conducted 39 cases for consultancy / peer counseling in relation with hearing loss field (education, job, hearing aid, skill learning, sign language, lip reading, etc…)
