THE CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND EDUCATION OF THE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING (CED)
On March 1st 2019, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) welcomed VTV3 Television staff to make a clip for their program “Đẹp Việt”. It was about activities of CED Center and Sign Language Class led by Ms Duong Phuong Hanh – Director of CED.
On March 3rd 2019, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) was open the new course 62 of Basic Sign Language. There were attendants in difference of ages, job and some of them were people with hearing loss.
On March 6th & 7th 2019, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) held the Hearing Care Program: Ears Test, Tympanometry Measurement and Hearing Test for 90 students with visual disabilities studying in Nguyen Dinh Chieu School for The Blind on two sessions of 6 and 7 March 2019. The program was made in the framework of promoting for World Hearing Day March 3rd 2019.
On March 7th 2019, CED Hearing Aid Fund was got one Ear light by Daewon Group for the Hearing Care and Hearing Test Program 2019.
On March 8th 2019, Ms Duong Phuong Hanh – The Director of The Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) was invited by the Managing Director of Inspectorio Company to share about activities for the community in the purpose of inspiring to 70 staff on International Women Day.
On March 10th 2019, Ms Duong Phuong Hanh- The Director of CED was invited by Trinh Foundation to teach about Key Word Sign for their program “Training bachelors and Masters of Speech Therapy” in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City in near future.
On March 12th 2019, Ms Duong Phuong Hanh- The Director of CED was invited by WWO to teach about “Education of children with profound hearing loss” for teachers and parents in Ben Tre. It is going to hold after April 2019.
On March 13th 2019 The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) already sent the report of promotion for World Hearing Day March 3rd 2019 to WHO.
On March 14th2019 The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) greeted the Inspection Team of Japan Government to check the usage of Audiometer. The device was donated by Consulate General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City under control of Japan Government for CED Hearing Aid Fund.
On March 23th 2019, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) welcomed 2 students of International School Ho Chi Minh City to visit and mention a program of Art “Lotus and Viet Nam Village” drawn by CED students. Its goal is to make scholarship fund for CED poor students.
On March 27th 2019, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had got an invitation from Red Cross in Ward 14, Phu Nhuan District to make a Hearing Test for the elders. The program is going to do in May 2019.
On March 30th 2019, Ms Duong Phuong Hanh- The Director of CED was invited by Seed Planter to share at the discussion session on "Education and Employment for People with Disabilities" in the event of the Social Impact Enterprise Forum.
CED’s Hearing Aid Fund: donated 13 new hearing aids to 9 poor children with hearing loss in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long Xuyen, Binh Thuan, Da Nang, Nam Dinh, Yen Bai.

- Nguyễn Bảo Thy: 1 hearing aid (Long Xuyen)
- Lê Ngọc Cẩm Ly: 2 hearing aids (Binh Thuan)
- Phạm Hoàng Tuấn Phong: 2 hearing aids (Da Nang)
- Nguyễn Thị Hương: 1 hearing aid (Nam Dinh)
- Lê Trâm Anh: 1 hearing aid (Yen Bai)

Consultancy/Peer counseling:
In this month, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) conducted 84 cases for consultancy / peer counseling in relation with hearing loss field: education, job, hearing aids, giving advice for parents of children with hearing loss, sign language, lip reading, etc…
