The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED)
On Mar 5th, 2020, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) welcomed Mr. Patrick – a student of Loyda University of Chicago visiting to learn about CED activities as well as education system for student with hearing loss in Vietnam.
On Mar 11th, 2020, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED)
organized for its students to draw their ideas drafting on 1m x 2m paper size to prepare for the drawing exhibition in last of May 2020.
On Mar 16th, 2020, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) had Ms Le Phuong Ngoc – the founder of Nikita Leather Crafts visiting and introducing Leather Crafts to CED students which is a new material in comparison with other materials in the past.
On Mar 23rd, 2020, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) made a research for consultancy / sharing demand of difficulties of people with hearing loss and coming up with a project of mobile consultancy program (online and offline) across Vietnam.
On Mar 26th, 2020, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) registered and reported with WHO for World Hearing Day 2020 program with the following activities:
1. Translating of WHO brochures, leaflets into Vietnamese.
2. Printing 1000 leaflets
3. Distributing leaflets to people with hearing loss, parents, teachers, NGO organizations, governmental organizations…
4. One week media communication on CED website https://www.ced.org and Facebook https://www.facebook.com/CED.Thegioikhiemthinh/
5. Sharing information of these articles on pages of such organizations as: Special Eduction Faculty, Association of Hard of Hearing People…
6. Making communication in small groups of parents, people with hearing loss, students of Special Education Faculty.
7. Making an online survey
On Mar 27th, 2020, Mrs Duong Phuong Hanh – CED Director gave a consultancy for student Nguyen Hoang Minh Hieu – Middlebuy College researching education for children with hearing loss in Vietnam.
On Mar 27th, 2020, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) reported its fellowship fund operation of VASF – CESR. In first quarter of 2020, CED received 5 application for VASF scholarship (2 for Preparatory Program for Grade 1; 3 for Special Education Program).
On Mar 28th, 2020, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) was proposed by Mr Le Quoc Bao a 3D Drawing course for CED students..
On Mar 30th, 2020, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) participated in a “Survey on Impacts of Covid-19 pandemic to companies and assessing support needs” organized by CSIP.
On Mar 31st, 2020, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) participated in a “Survey on Impacts of Covid-19 pandemic to activities of Social Enterprises in Vietnam” organized by MSD.
Report of “CED Hearing Aid Fund” - in Mar, 2020, the CED Fund for Hearing Aid has donated 10 hearng aids to 7 children with hearing loss from poor families in Hanoi and Nghe An.

2. Nguyen Van Vinh: 1 hearing aid (Nghe An)
3. Pham Huyen Ly: 1 hearing aid (Ha Noi)
4. Bui khanh Huyen: 2 hearing aid (Ha Noi)
5. Nguyen Quoc Phong: 2 hearing aid (Ha Noi)
6. Nguyen Quynh Huong: 2 hearing aid (Ha Noi)
7. Do Dac Cuong: 1 hearing aid (Ha Noi)
