STUDENT WITH HEARING LOSS LEARNING SPEECH READING SKILLS

 

On September 4, 2021, CED consulted online about learning speech reading skills for a student with hearing loss in Can Tho.

 

At the session, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh – Director of CED taught the method for the student as well as instructed parents to accompany and support their child in practicing speech reading skill at home. Parents and student were also encouraged to practice speech reading skills at anytime and anywhere, starting with daily life activities at home.

 

Speech reading skills will help people with hearing loss increase their ability to hear-understand spoken language.
