SHARING “SKILLS FOR COMMUNICATION WITH HARD OF HEARING PEOPLE”
On July 24, 2020, Ms. Ton Nu Thi Nhi – Vice Director of CED was invited to give lecture on sign language for 80 students of Tay Thanh High School in Tan Phu, HCMC.
The purpose for studying sign language was to prepare for the “Hoa Phuong Do” Volunteering Campaign, organized by the Student Union.
The session covered topics such as: Basic issues about hard of hearing people, sign language and communication skills.
Students experienced and were equipped with knowledge on the alphabet, signs, how to organize games as well as useful skills for communicating with hard of hearing people.
