[ADMISSION ANNOUNCEMENT] EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR DEAF AND HARD-OF-HEARING STUDENTS
Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) is a trusted companion in supporting intervention, education, and skill development for deaf and hard-of-hearing children. CED would like to announce admissions for courses with individually customized learning pathways
I. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
1. PREPARATORY GRADE 1 CLASS (Inclusive Education Support Program)
- Target students: Ages 5 – 7
- Training Content:
- Taught according to the nationwide unified textbook set approved by the Ministry of Education & Training, adapted to fit the learning capacity of each deaf child.
- Teaching methodology focused on listening – speaking.
- Combination of group classes and 1:1 individual speaking practice sessions.
- Enhancement of creative skills through extracurricular activities and fine arts.
- Language development, listening, speaking, thinking, and expressive abilities.
- Development of foundational learning skills, self-care skills, discipline, and group consciousness to prepare deaf children for inclusive Grade 1 education.
2. ACADEMIC AND CAREER ORIENTATION CLASS (Specialized Program)
- Target students:
- Students with hearing loss aged 10-18 who have never attended school or wish to enhance their academic knowledge.
- Adult deaf individuals who have never attended school before.
- Training Content:
- Learn Vietnamese, expand vocabulary, and understand word meanings.
- Learn and practice comprehensive communication: spoken language, Sign Language, gestures, writing, images, etc.
- Train listening, observation, and lip-reading skills.
- Practice expression skills so that others can understand them.
- Train life conduct skills and understand social norms.
- Develop thinking through STEM/STEAM lessons and practice communication skills.
- Learn drawing and applied fine arts.
- Discover and develop talents, career orientation, and suitable vocational training.
3. COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT PROGRAM (Students with hearing learning disabilities)
- Target students:
- Students with hearing and learning disabilities.
- Training Content:
- Learn academic knowledge through basic perception from real objects.
- Develop multimodal communication: speaking, writing, sign language, etc.
- Learn social skills & emotional management, self-service skills.
- Motor activities & sensory integration, training remaining senses.
II. TUITION FEES
- Boarding (Full-day): 4 million VND/month/student, 5 days/week.
- Morning class: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM, 3 million VND/month/student, 5 days/week.
- Afternoon class: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, 2 million VND/month/student, 5 days/week.

- Flexible schedules: Full-day boarding or half-day classes (Monday - Friday).
- Small-scale classroom model: Maximum of 10 students per class, and maximum of 6 students for classes catering to children with multiple disabilities.
