ART CLASS: DESIGNING FISHING RODS AND CREATING PAPER SEA CREATURES

On May 7, 2025, elementary students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had an exciting and creative experience during their art class, where they were guided to design fishing rods and craft paper sea creatures.

In the first part of the lesson, students learned about the structure of a fishing rod and got to design their own unique models. Following this, they engaged in a hands-on activity, cutting and assembling colorful paper fish, bringing them to life through careful detailing and decoration. Through each step-cutting, gluing, and styling-they not only practiced color coordination but also gained a deeper understanding of the shapes and characteristics of different aquatic animals.

This art lesson was more than just a creative exercise-it encouraged observation skills, teamwork, and imagination. Undoubtedly, it was a memorable activity that sparked a love for art and inspired students to explore the world around them in their own unique way.
