THE MEDICAL SIGN LANGUAGE COURSE FOR MEDICAL STAFF OF BINH CHANH DISTRICT HOSPITAL, FIRST SESSION.

On March 16, 2024, the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) opened the Medical Sign Language Course for 61 medical staff of Binh Chanh District Hospital and 7 deaf people assisting in practice.

With class time from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the first session begins with two lessons:

- Lesson 1: Law on Medical Examination and Treatment 2023 - Rights and Obligations of patients

- Lesson 2: Health Insurance

After each lesson, trainees were divided into groups to practice and discuss, and all questions would be answered by the teacher at the end of the session.

The Medical Sign Language course for medical staff of Binh Chanh District Hospital is one of the programs under the Project "Let Our Voice Resound" of the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) funded by the Justice Initiative Facilitation Fund (JIFF), managed by Oxfam in Vietnam.
