EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION: MAKING TULIP FLOWERS WITH VELVET ZINC

On November 30, 2023, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), STEM class students participated in an extracurricular activity with the topic "Making tulips with velvet zinc". The children will make lovely tulips with their own hands to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities December 3. Tulip making tools include:

1. Velvet zinc

2. Scissors

3. Tape

4. Flower wrapping paper

The students were instructed by interns to make tulip petals and leaves using velvet zinc. Then, combine 4 petals into 1 tulip flower and decorate the leaves. Each student made their own tulip and eventually combine it into a large bouquet.

Through the extracurricular session of making tulips with velvet zinc, the students were excited and curious about this new activity. The children were creative and proactive in shaping the velvet wires into objects such as hair plows, clips, phone hooks, and spiders.

Happy International Day of Persons with Disabilities December 3!

Wishing you all always joy and happiness!!!!
