COMMUNITY SUPPORT

On March 31, 2022, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh – Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) – and teachers had a meeting with Dr. Le Thi Ngoc Tho, HCMC University of Technology on supporting scientific research for the topic “Automatic translation of Vietnamese sign language”.

The research topic derived from the wish to support community sustainable development and to reduce the social inequality of the student group at the university. The student group intends to develop the software for supporting the community using sign-language as well as the Deaf with more convenience in learning, communication and social inclusion in the future.
