ART CLASS: CREATIVE COLLAGE WITH HANDMADE COLORED PAPER.

On June 25, 2025, elementary students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) enjoyed a fun and creative Art class with the theme “Creative Collage”. What made the lesson extra special was that the materials used weren’t store-bought colored paper, but handmade paper that the students had created themselves during last week’s color-spraying activity.

With these unique, colorful textures, the students were free to cut, tear, and paste to make their own personalized artworks. Some made collages of their dream houses, others imagined magical forests, while some freely expressed themselves with vibrant abstract shapes.

The class not only developed observation and visual thinking skills, but also encouraged students to feel proud of their own creative process—from making their own colors to finishing their artworks. The classroom was filled with laughter and joy as each child explored the colorful world of imagination in their own way.
