ART CLASS: CREATIVE DRAWING

On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), STEM class students had an engaging art lesson on the theme “Creative Drawing”.

During the lesson, under the guidance of Ms. An, the students took part in the following activities:

• Observing and exploring: Watching an instructional video demonstrating how familiar shapes, such as a pair of glasses, can be transformed into completely different images through imagination.

• Exploring new ideas: Using circles printed on paper as a starting point, the students created a variety of images, including colorful balls, little girls, and many other imaginative ideas.

• Discovering different shapes: With prompts from Ms. An, the students continued exploring triangles, diamonds, squares, rectangles, and other shapes, using their imagination to create their own drawings.

Throughout the lesson, the students worked attentively on their artwork and enthusiastically explored new ideas. Many drawings stood out for their creative forms, lively details, and beautiful use of color.

Through this art lesson, the students had the opportunity to develop their observation skills, strengthen their imagination and creative thinking, and gain confidence in expressing their own ideas. Starting with simple shapes, each student could create a unique artwork from their own perspective.
