EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION – VIETNAMESE WOMEN’S ROLE MODEL
On October 6, 2023, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), STEM students had an extracurricular session on: “Vietnamese women’s role model“. This is one of a series of extracurricular activities to celebrate Vietnamese Women’s day on October 20.
During the extracurricular session, students were instructed to gain knowledge about women’s role models when the country was founded in the ancient times to the present, such as:
- Hai Ba Trung, Ba Trieu, resolutely “First defeat great enemy, second build Hung Kingdom - folk song“.
- Mrs. Doan Thi Diem – a talent literator, a virtuous, dutiful and loyal lady.
- Ms. Vo Thi Sau – a girl of Red Soil region “Better die with honor than live with shame”.
- Ten ladies at Dong Loc three-way crossroads sacrificed their youths for their.
That’s a role model of patience and perseverance of Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh – Executive Director of CED. It is silent sacrifice of Grandmothers, mothers, sisters and female teachers – These beloved women always take care of you every day.
The extracurricular session about “Vietnamese women’s role model“ not only helped students understand more about history but students also were educated about gratitude and will to live – one of the moral education courses for students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED).
