TRAINING PROGRAM: THE COURSE 77 OF SKILLS IN COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS (SESSION 5)
On April 12, 2026, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) trained Sign Language – Basic Level for 25 participants, consisting of 10 professionals working in fields such as Education, Healthcare, Social Work, Art, Media, along with 15 students.
Sign language is one of two themes in the training program on Skills for Communication with People with Hearing Loss (Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened). The second theme is lipsreading.
In our fifth session, learners went beyond just learning vocabulary; they embarked on a journey to explore a colorful world of fruits with their hands. Through interactive descriptions and guessing games, everyone gained a deep understanding of how each sign is formed, making the learning process feel natural and exciting. This is the most anticipated topic in every course, as it creates a beautiful connection between Sign Language and everyday life.
With the weather being quite "challenging" lately, don't forget to prioritize fresh, cooling fruits to detox and stay refreshed. Stay energized and take care of your health during these hot days!
