SUMMARY OF EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

On December 29, 2022, the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) had a useful extra-curricular session for students with hearing loss.

The topic of the extracurricular session was: Summary of extracurricular activities. After a year of companionship and development of Ibsen Tiny Stage in CED. This was also a time to summarize and review the knowledge that the teachers have taught the children in the past year.

At the beginning, the teacher guided the students with lively games to warm up their bodies because this was the changing time of the weather, so the air was gradually turning cold. The warm-up first helped the muscles and joints to be more elastic when entering the main activity.

Then, the teacher used a ball as an instrument. When the ball reached a student's hand, he or she would step inside the circle and perform a dance, or a movement that they would like to introduce themselves to their friends. In this activity, it was intended to help students become more confident when expressing their talents in front of people.

Finally, to consolidate knowledge after a year of activities, the teacher showed the students pictures taken after the extracurricular activities. The teacher showed random images for the students to guess what the activity was, which month the event took place. When looking at old photos, the students eagerly volunteered to answer with great enthusiasm and showed great interest after a year of participating in extracurricular activities.

At the end of the session, the representative of the CED, Vice Director - Ms. To Thi Bich Phuong sent her sincere thanks to Ibsen Tiny Stage in general and the teachers, friends, and the volunteers in particular who have accompanied and worked throughout the year with CED.

On behalf of the Ibsen Tiny Stage, Ms. Bao Dung deeply thanked CED's Board of Director for creating the opportunity for Ibsen Tiny Stage to have the opportunity to work closely with the center and the students. This was a new experience for students with hearing loss in general and other students with disabilities in particular who have difficulties in communication. But so far, activities have gone very smoothly in a positive way. In response to the accompanying on the Tiny Stage, Ibsen held a small farewell party with our beloved students.
