EXPERIENCE SHARING WORKSHOP
On October 22, 2021, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) attended the experience sharing workshop from projects in HCMC receiving the 2nd funding of JIFF. Participating in the workshop were representatives from the Secretary Board of JIFF – Oxfam, Ministry of Justice, three organizations receiving the second funding in HCMC including CED, the Disability and Development Support Center (DRD), HCMC Association for the Protection of Children's Rights (HACR) and representatives of their partners and beneficiaries, and the organizations receiving the third funding such as HCMC University of Industry, HCMC University of Economics, etc…
At the workshop, CED presented about our activities of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)”, sponsored by JIFF-Oxfam. Although being affected much by the Covid pandemic, many CED’s activities have completed 100% and the rest activities are planned to finish in November 2021. The final project report will be done in December 2021.
The sharing workshop gave organizations the opportunity to learn from each other, listening to suggestions from legal advisors, geting encouragement from the sharing of beneficiaries, and at the same time having chances to look back on our activities, lessons learned, difficulties, challenges, and solutions to adapt to the situation of the Covid pandemic.
