SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION – LEARNING GROUP 4th MEETING
On October 20, 2021, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) organized the fourth meeting in the series of 6 follow-up meetings after the “Sign Language Interpreter Training” course, in order to continue supporting participants in knowledge exchange, skill practicing and experience sharing. At this meeting in October, there were 11 participants from the last training in June, who are teachers in special schools, parents and students from Hanoi, Nha Trang, Can Tho, Dak Nong, HCMC…
At the meeting, participants shared their practical experience of sign language interpretation in the last month. Then the whole class practiced parallel interpreting sign language with the facilitation by Ms Tran Phuong Nhung, an expert in sign language interpreting. Finally, Ms. Nhung answered the questions from the participants.
This is the activity in the framework of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)” of CED, sponsored by EU through JIFF-Oxfam.
