TRAINING OF SIGN LANGUAGE ON MEDICAL THEME – FINAL SESSION

 

On September 28, 2021, the sign language on medical theme class had its final session with  51 participants who are teachers in speacial schools and parents of children with hearing loss in HCMC, Hanoi, Dong Nai, An Giang, Danang, Dong Thap, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Nha Trang, Kien Giang. At this final session, participants did the final assessment tests and reviewed what they have learned through 3 exciting games: (1) Who is faster; (2) I understand the deaf; (3) The deaf understands me.

 

The training is facilitated mainly by Ms. Tran Phuong Nhung, together with the deaf assistant, Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong. There are also other deafs who practice with the participants. This is training in the framework of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)” of CED, sponsored by EU through JIFF-Oxfam.
