TRAINING ON SKILLS FOR ASSISTING PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS IN HOSPITALS - CLASS 6&7 - PRACTICE GROUP 1

On October 9-10, 2021, Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) organized two online sign language practice sessions for 24 participants of the first group of Class 6&7 of the course “Skills for supporting people with hearing loss (Deaf and Hard of Hearing / DHoH) in hospitals”. They are social workers, teachers in special education, parents of children with hearing loss, medical staff and students in HCMC, Hanoi, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Can Tho, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Vinh Long, Hai Phong, Dong Nai.

 

At these practice sessions, participants reviewed what they have learned and practiced in groups with the deafs. The second group of Class 6&7 will be organised next weekend.

 

This is the sixth and seventh training of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)” of CED, sponsored by EU through JIFF-Oxfam.
