TRAINING ON SKILLS FOR ASSISTING PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS IN HOSPITALS - CLASS 6&7 – SESSION 3
On September 25, 2021, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of CED - trained 44 participants who are social workers, teachers in special education, parents of children with hearing loss, medical staff and students in HCMC, Hanoi, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh, Can Tho, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Vinh Long, Hai Phong, Dong Nai on “Skills for supporting people with hearing loss (Deaf and Hard of Hearing / DHoH) in hospitals”.
On this third session, participants reviewed on sign language, speechreading and continued with the lesson on skills for communication with people with hearing loss in hospitals.
This is the sixth and seventh training of the project “Promoting the initial legal support and implementation of regulations on medical examination and treatment for people with hearing loss (deaf, hard of hearing and deafened)” of CED, sponsored by EU through JIFF-Oxfam.
