3rd SESSION - SKILLS FOR COMMUNICATION WITH PEOPLE WITH HEARING LOSS CLASS 69 & 70
On August 20 and 21, 2022, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) trained Basic level in Sign Language for 49 participants who were students majoring in Special Education, Social Work, General Doctors, Community Health, Psychology, Oriental Studies, Marketing, International Business, Graphic Design… and some officers, social workers, teachers, doctors, monks and parents, etc.
Sign Language is one of two topics in the training program on Skills for Communication with People with Hearing Loss (Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Late Deafened), the second topic is Lips-reading.
In this third session, participants learned:
- Sign language on the theme of Family and Practice communication.
- Signs of the song on the theme of Family
- Practice communication on daily life questions

Class 69 and Class 70 are held within the framework of the project "A world without barriers for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing" funded by the Australian Volunteers Impact Fund (APV), implemented by Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) in the year 2022 - 2023.
