ART CLASS: COLOR MIXING & TILE BORDER DECORATION

On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students enjoyed a lively and engaging Art lesson with the theme “Color Mixing & Tile Border Decoration.”

During the lesson, under the guidance of their teacher, the students had the opportunity to:

· Explore color mixing and learn how to combine different colors to create harmonious and eye-catching artworks.

· Practice different color schemes, including complementary colors, analogous colors, and triadic colors, and recognize the differences between each color combination.

· Observe different patterns and practice coloring individual sections, paying attention to how colors can be combined to create contrast and balance.

· Use their creativity and imagination to decorate tile border patterns, creating a variety of colorful and lively designs in their own ways.

During the activity, each student had their own way of choosing and combining colors. Some students used bright and contrasting colors to make their designs stand out, while others preferred softer and more harmonious color combinations. These different choices resulted in a variety of colorful artworks that reflected each student’s individual style.

Through this activity, the students not only learned more about colors and color combinations, but also had the opportunity to develop their observation skills, patience, and hand coordination while working on different patterns. Choosing their own colors and completing their artworks also encouraged them to express their ideas confidently and develop their creativityf through art.

Each completed artwork represented a unique way of expressing ideas and reflected the students’ effort, enthusiasm, and joy during their Art lesson at CED.
