ART CLASS: “FRUITS” – A NEW WAY TO PRINT COLOR ON PAPER.
On July 9, 2025, elementary students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) participated in a colorful and creative art lesson with the theme “Fruits.” Instead of coloring with crayons or watercolors as usual, the students experienced a special printing technique: applying color onto a foam sheet (soft sponge), then pressing it onto white paper.
The children chose their favorite fruit shapes—like oranges, apples, grapes, and watermelons—and used brushes or their hands to spread the paint directly onto the foam surface. Then, they gently pressed a piece of white paper on top to create a soft, unique, and surprising print.
This creative method not only helped the students experience beautiful color blending, but also strengthened their observation, hand control, and creativity in color composition. Each print carried its own artistic character and inspired the students to continue exploring and enjoying the world of art.
