ART CLASS: HUMAN MOTION
On July 14, 2026, students at the STEM class joined an exciting and creative Art lesson titled "Human Motion". This session helped students learn how to capture movement and bring energy into their drawings.
Under the teacher's dedicated guidance, the students followed 3 steps to create their own masterpieces:
- Step 1 – Choose a movement: Students picked a favorite action, such as running, jumping, dancing, or playing sports.
- Step 2 – Sketch the motion: Students drew basic lines to shape the body and ensure the pose looked natural.
- Step 3 – Add motion effects: Students practiced two ways to show movement:
+ Option 1: Focus on the space and energy around the person (using lines to show speed and power).
+ Option 2: Focus on the body shape to support the direction of the movement (such as the lean of the back or the stride of the arms and legs).
By the end of the class, the students produced lively and unique drawings that showed the strength and flexibility of the human body. Through this activity, the students not only improved their drawing skills but also learned how to observe details and stay focused to complete their work beautifully.
