ART CLASS: IMPROVISATION AND IMAGINATION (TEAR AND PASTE COLLAGE)
On June 5, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students from the STEM class participated in an Art session themed “Improvisation and Imagination (Tear and Paste Collage)”.
From colorful square, rectangular, and circular paper shapes, under the teacher's guidance, the students:
- Selected colors and shapes.
- Practiced tearing and pasting based on their improvisation and imagination to create unique paintings.
- Introduced and shared the ideas behind their products with the teacher and classmates.
Achieved results are diverse, vivid, and highly creative paintings; each painting tells its own story, reflecting the unique perspective and feelings of each student.
In addition to honing observation and creative thinking skills, the Art session on “Improvisation and Imagination (Tear and Paste Collage)” helped students develop motor skills through tearing, arranging, and pasting paper. It also taught them how to choose colors and layouts that match their ideas, boosting their confidence in expressing feelings and thoughts through art—and most importantly, developing communication skills, sharing, and listening to their peers' opinions.
