ART CLASS: PAPER TEARING AND PASTING - LANGUAGE OF THE HANDS (GROUP ACTIVITY)
On May 26, 2026, STEM class students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) participated in an Art session themed "Paper Tearing and Pasting - Language of the Hands (Group Activity)."
Under the teacher's guidance, the students split into 3 groups and followed these steps:
- Step 1: Use a pencil to draw the hand sign for one of the letters C, E, or D on an A4 sheet.
- Step 2: Tear paper into pieces of various sizes and colors, based on each group's ideas and creativity.
- Step 3: Use white glue to paste the torn paper pieces onto the drawing.
The Art session not only helped the students complete 3 colorful hand-sign mosaics of C - E - D but also allowed them to apply the paper-tearing skills learned from the previous two sessions, while sharpening their teamwork skills.
In particular, choosing a theme based on the acronym of the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) — where the students are currently studying, helped enhance their focus, engagement, and connection.
