EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: A DAY AS A BARISTA

Recently, the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) organized a special workshop titled “A Day as a Barista” for deaf and hard of hearing students, supported by Social work university students. The activity offered participants a hands-on experience in the role of a real barista — from preparing ingredients and making milk tea and fruits tea to working in teams and serving others. More than just a fun workshop, it was an opportunity for the students to build confidence, develop life skills, and connect with the broader community in a meaningful way.

The event was filled with energy, joy, and heartfelt connections. Every smile and every drink made was a symbol of learning, dedication, and teamwork. Through this experience, CED once again promotes the message that “Everyone can shine in their own way,” emphasizing that inclusive education and job opportunities for people with disabilities are possible and valuable. We are deeply grateful to teachers our students, volunteers, and everyone who made this day so memorable!
