EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY: SUMMER
On June 5, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students from the STEM class attended an extracurricular session themed “Summer”.
The content of the session included:
- Learning about the characteristics of summer weather, seasonal fruits, and activities that typically take place during this season.
- Participating in knowledge quizzes and team-based physical games.
- Sharing personal feelings and preferences about summer.
Through these extracurricular activities, the students gained a deeper understanding of summer's unique features, as well as safe and healthy ways to participate in recreational activities.
In addition to honing communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills, the “Summer” themed extracurricular session helped students learn to listen, share ideas, complete tasks together, and support their peers. Furthermore, the session also helped students develop self-care skills, an awareness of personal hygiene and health protection during summer, and boosted their confidence when participating in collective activities.
