EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY - WATCHING THE MOVIE "VIETNAMESE NATIONAL HEROES"

On July 3, 2026, at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED), students from the STEM class gathered to participate in an extracurricular movie screening themed "Vietnamese National Heroes." This is also one of the key extracurricular activities aligned with July’s theme: "When drinking water, remember its source – Commemorating the 79th anniversary of Vietnam’s War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27)."

During the session, the students watched two meaningful animated films:

• "Le Loi and the Magic Sword" – reenacting the heroic Lam Sơn Uprising, which sparked patriotism and the determination to protect the nation.

• "The Young Hero Kim Dong" – telling the story of a brave and resourceful youth who dedicated his young life to the revolution.

Featuring vivid visuals, Vietnamese subtitles, and an approachable, easy-to-understand narrative, these movies helped the students gain a deeper understanding of national history. It allowed them to deeply appreciate the immense sacrifices made by previous generations for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The extracurricular activity "Movie Screening: Vietnamese National Heroes" not only provided a visual and engaging history lesson but also contributed to educating students on the traditional moral of "When drinking water, remember its source." This experience helps them cherish today's peaceful life and nurtures their aspiration to study and train to become useful citizens for society.
