EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION: UNDERSTANDING AND LOVING FAMILY.

On June 27, 2025, in celebration of Vietnamese Family Day (June 28), elementary students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) took part in a heartfelt extracurricular lesson themed “Family and Loving Emotions”.

During the session, the students viewed illustrations, completed emotion-recognition activities, and shared about their loved ones through sign language, facial expressions, and gestures. With the support of vivid visual aids, group games, and role-playing activities, the students explored different family members, how to express affection toward parents, grandparents, and siblings, and how to recognize familiar emotions such as happiness, sadness, longing, and love.

Simple yet sincere visuals helped the students connect with their emotions and develop an understanding of the value of family bonds.
