EXTRACURRICULAR SESSION: WATCHING THE WILLOUGHBYS – A LESSON ON FAMILY LOVE
On May 30, 2025, elementary students at the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) took part in a touching extracurricular lesson through the animated movie “The Willoughbys” – a heartfelt family film suitable for children.
In the cozy classroom setting, the students attentively followed the story of the four Willoughby siblings – children longing to be loved and to have a true family. The film captivated them not only with its vibrant visuals and humor but also through its deep message about love, connection, and the importance of a caring, sharing family.
The lesson brought joy while also sparking empathy, helping the students understand that a true family is not just defined by the presence of parents – but by sincere love and compassion.
