On Jan 10th, 2018, the Representative of The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) worked out with BIT Group, students of Foreign Trade University, to agree execution of Marketing Program supporting CED which was named “CED+”
On Jan 12th, 2018, all of teachers and students of The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) were invited by Sam Sung Vietnam Group to attend the workshop “Technologies shortening distances between the disabled and the world” at General Library of HCM City. This was a critical part of chain of activities “Journey for inspiring” of Samsung Vina company. In this workshop Ms Duong Phuong Hanh - CED Director was invited for giving speech to share about her life story.
On Jan 13th, 2018, Ms Duong Phuong Hanh - CED Director taught “Lip Reading Skill” for 39 teachers of Can Tho School for the Deaf and 6 teachers of Mainstream School at Can Tho School for the Deaf.
On Jan 14th, 2018, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) had donated 9 hearing aids for students of Dong Thap School for the Deaf.
On Jan 17th, 2018, the Representative of The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) had a meeting with the Representative of Worldwide Orphans Organization about activity programs that are of possible future cooperation.
On Jan 18th, 2018, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) donated two hearing aids for a 3-year-old boy, Nguyen Manh Hung living in Hanoi.
On Jan 21th, 2018, Ms Duong Phuong Hanh - CED Director was invited to give speech at a workshop for subject of “Doing business for community” to around 60 students of Law - Economy University.
On 22th-26th Jan, 2018 The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) had opened the Sign Language Class for one student who has her own demand. The student will be going abroad for studying education profession of hearing loss children.
In this month, The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) had advised the parents for buying hearing aids, cochlear implant; consulting the parents about the study of children with hearing loss; looking for staff who is willing to work with hearing loss community; consulting and supporting special schools implementing projects as well as connecting the companies with social organizations for social responsibility.
The Center for Research and Education of The Deaf and Hard Of Hearing (CED) will close for traditional Tet holidays from Feb 8th, 2018 until Feb 26th, 2018./.
