PRESENTATION ON “LIP READING”
On 03&05 February 2026, Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh - Director of the Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) was invited to present the topic "Lip Reading" in the subject of Audiology and Hearing Rehabilitation for 35 students of the Bachelor of Speech Therapy training program, Faculty of Rehabilitation, Da Nang and Hai Duong University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy.
The presentation included the following contents:
- The concept of lip reading
- Practice teaching lip reading
- Factors affecting lip reading.
- Designing lessons for teaching lip reading
Lip Reading is one of three topics (Sign Language, Key Word Sign, Lip Reading) that Ms. Duong Phuong Hanh is invited to teach to students.
Center for Research and Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (CED) was honored to be invited to teach for the Speech Therapy training program of Pham Ngoc Thach Medical University from 2012 to 2015, HCMC University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Da Nang and Hai Duong University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy from 2020 to now. The program is sponsored by MCNV, TFA.
